Ronald Fleischmann

Ronald F. Fleischmann Jr., age 43 of Milwaukee, WI passed away peacefully on May 25th, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

Ron was born on March 8th, 1980 to Ronald and Sue Fleischmann. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Fleischmann, and beloved dog, Stewie. He is survived by his wife, Liza Fleischmann (nee Leonard), father Ronald (Colleen) Fleischmann, mother-in-law Brenna Leonard, father-in-law Timothy Leonard, sisters Kristin Fleischmann and Jennifer (Micah) Adams, sister-in-law Sarah (Marshal) Andersen, brother Kevin Fleischmann, brother-in-law Charles (Michelle) Leonard and nephews Aaron and Caleb Adams.

Ron earned his MS at Emmanuel College in Boston, which allowed him to join Hope College in 2018 as Director of Sponsored Research and Programs. Ron was proud to have worked with faculty to secure grants to further their research.

Ron will be remembered as a fierce advocate for those he loved. His nephews will remember him as being the director of much of their mischief. He could often be found with his faithful dog, Stewie by his side.
