Karl Esmark ’72

Rev. Dr. Karl Reed Esmark, died on Friday, December 18, 2021 from Covid-19 in Syracuse, NY.  My husband received his Master of Divinity from New Brunswick Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Education from Rutgers.  He served in several churches throughout his life, and retired from ministry due to ill health in 2017.  He also served as a US Army Chaplain.  He was 71 at the time of his death.  He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Esmark, daughter Katherine Wilburn (Joe), step-sons Jeffrey Rarick (Charity), Richard Rarick and step-daughter Valerie Rarick and two grandchildren.
