Arlene Eilanded ’48 Ligtvoet

Arlene Ligtvoet, age 91, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017.

Arlene was born in Holland, MI on November 3, 1926 and was a graduate of Hope College. Early in life she was a teacher until she and her husband John started their family. She was a wonderful mother and faithful wife. In retirement, they relocated to the Grand Rapids area. She enjoyed playing board games and cards. She will be dearly missed.

Arlene is preceded in death by husband, John; brother, Charles Eilander; and her parents, George and Ruth Eilander.

She is survived by daughter, Pam Ligtvoet; son, Jon Ligtvoet; daughter-in-law, Colleen Ligtvoet; sister, Barbara Stockman; sister-in-law, Eleanor Bax; brother-in-law, Gerald Bax; nieces and a nephew.

A private service is being held by the family.

Burial to take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
