Anna Demshuk ’99
Anna Demshuk ’99 of Holland, Michigan, died on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017. She was 40.
Anna was born July 3, 1977, daughter of Thomas and Carol Demshuk. After high school, Anna attended Hope College and Eastern Michigan University where she graduated with a master’s degree in social work.
Anna is survived by her parents, Thomas and Carol Demshuk; her loving wife, Missy Nienhuis; her siblings, Andrew (Rebecca) Demshuk, Christy Wilt, Mary Demshuk; her nephew Zachary, her in-laws Ron (Mary Jo) Nienhuis; brother in-law, Andy (Susan) Nienhuis and her nieces Skylar and Taryn, along with her extended family and many friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday Aug. 25, at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 1010 S. Lansing St. Mason, MI 48854. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 24, from 5-8 p.m. with a Scripture service and sharing at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held at the churchon Friday from 10-11 a.m., prior to the 11 a.m. funeral mass. Also, a celebration of life open house will be held from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 27, at Ridge Point Community Church, Ren’s Café, 340 104th Ave Holland, MI 49423, with a prayer at 5 p.m.
