Priscilla Wubbels ’61 Landreth

Priscilla Jean Landreth, aged 83, passed away peacefully at home in Versailles, Ky. on Sunday February 26, due to Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Priscilla was born October 31, 1939, in Baldwin Wisconsin.

She was a devoted wife to Jerald (Jerry) Landreth who she married in Baldwin, Wisconsin in May 1962. They would have celebrated 61 years of marriage this year.

Priscilla graduated in 1957 from Baldwin High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Hope College in 1961 and later a Master’s in Education from Wright State University.

She taught High School English in Port Edwards, Wisconsin, Maysville, Kentucky and Eaton, Ohio.

Priscilla was a loving and dedicated mother to her two daughters and their families and treasured every moment she spent with them.

She loved the organ and played piano and organ in churches for over forty years.

Priscilla also enjoyed to travel and she and Jerry went on many wonderful trips together over the years.

In addition to her husband she leaves her two daughters and their husbands; Lisa and Fred Hunt of Cincinnati, Ohio and Melissa and Eric Willis of Midway, Ky; plus four grandchildren; Rick Hunt and wife Heidi Olsen of Bellevue, Ky, Rebecca (Hunt) Stanfill and husband Collin of Columbus, Ohio, Breanna Willis and Chase Willis, both of Midway, Ky.
