Brian Gibson ’71

Brian Curtis Gibson, 74, of Holland Michigan passed away on June 14. Born in LaGrange, Illinois, near Chicago, he was the youngest of four brothers.

Brian is remembered tenderly as a warmhearted, loving man. He worked for many years inHolland and Grand Rapids in social service, helping the poor and underserved. Brian served faithfully for years as an elder at LakeshoreVineyard Christian Fellowship and more recently worshiped atManna church in Holland.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl, sons Jonathan and Robert, daughter-in-law LaurieAnn (LA) and grandchildren Jireh, Casiana, and Lilly as well as his brother Norman and sister-in-laws Ruth and Mary Louise along with several loving nieces and nephews. A devoted family man, Brian was always available to his loved ones.

Brian has graciously gifted himself to the anatomical donation program at the University of Michigan.
