Richard Hine ’45

Richard Hine ’45 passed away on December 14, 2016 at the age of 92. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Tazelaar) ’46, children Judy Strom ’71, Rick ’72, and Beth Frost ’77, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

After graduation from New Brunswick Seminary, Rev. Hine served Reformed Churches in Walkill, New York, Clifton, New Jersey, Schnectady, New York, West Sayville, New York, Muskegon, Michigan and Jenison, Michigan.

He and Barbara retired to Mesa, Arizona in 1984 and enjoyed many wonderful years of travel, volunteer service and outdoor activities. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in September of 2016.
