Mary Buttles ’52 Jordan

Mary Jordan, age 91 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Freedom Village, Holland, MI. Mary was a retired teacher with the Fremont Public schools. She taught 1st and 2nd grades for many years. After retirement she loved and enjoyed being back in Holland residing on Lake Michigan. She had a great passion for golf and playing bridge.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Jordan Jr. in 1985.

She is survived by her sons: James (Renee) Jordan, William (Mary Kay) Jordan; Granddaughter Andrea (Dave); 2 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; twin sister Molly Buttles ’52  (William) Baker; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10:30am – 11:45am at First United Methodist Church, 57W. 10th Street, Holland, MI. A memorial service will be held directly after at 12: 00pm, also at the church. Internment will take place at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
