Bryan Dewey ’95
Passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in Ann Arbor. Bryan was born June 18, 1972 in Kalamazoo, MI the son of Donald and Carol (Alford) Dewey. He graduated from Hackett Catholic High School in 1991 and received a Bachelor’s degree from Hope College in 1995. As an athlete, Bryan had a passion for soccer and played throughout his youth, high school, and college years.
As a natural salesman, he became a Territory Manager in the flooring industry; working for Florstar Sales, Inc. for the past 22 years. He developed strong relationships with his customers and saw them as valued friends.
Bryan had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, and rode every chance he got. He also loved the relaxation of being on the water, and treasured time on Lake Michigan boating with his family. A dedicated and caring father, the joy of his life was spending time with his children. Bryan was funny, with a fantastic sense of humor. A natural storyteller, he would entertain family and friends with his accounts of memories and experiences.
On December 19, 1998 Bryan was married to his loving wife Lisa (Shenk), who survives. He is also survived by his children, Erika and Caleb Dewey; parents, Donald (Carol) Dewey; and his brother, Marc (Julie) Dewey and his children Lexi and Marc.
