Larry Walter TenPas, 75, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017, at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan FallsLarry was born on April 9, 1942, in Sheboygan, to Edwin and Johanna (Van De Wege) TenPas. He was a graduate of Central High School and continued his education at Hope College. Larry owned and operated TenPas Painting and Decorating until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Bethany Reformed Church in Sheboygan. During his free time he enjoyed volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and was a member of the Sierra Club. He enjoyed traveling, canoeing, kayaking, bicycling, and spending time outdoorsLarry is survived by his two sisters, Kathleen (Robert) Sorrens of Tucson, AZ, and Susan TenPas of Eugene, OR; three brothers, Dale (Ann) TenPas of Hingham, Richard (Laurie) TenPas of Stockton, IL, and Peter TenPas of Sheboygan. Larry is further survived by seven nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Johanna TenPas and a sister, Faye J Wetherbe. A memorial service to celebrate Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at 6:00 pm at Bethany Reformed Church in Sheboygan with Pastor Jon Garbison officiating. An inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial ParkRelatives and friends may greet the family at Bethany Reformed Church in Sheboygan on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 4:30 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
