Darrin Duistermars ’90

Darrin Duistermars ’90 has received the 2021 Michigan Recreation & Parks Association Fellowship Award, which is presented to a member who consistently demonstrates significant investment, support and guidance to fellow professionals. Honorees exemplify the highest level of professionalism in all aspects of the profession, in their own organization and within the membership. Nominees must be a member of mParks in good standing for a minimum of 20 years. Darrin has been the Parks & Recreation Director at Holland Charter Township for over 30 years. He also serves Hope College as a public address announcer for multiple sports, and has been doing so in some capacity since 1992.
