Carol Bultman ’68 Van De Hoef of
Libertyville, Illinois, died on Thursday, Sept. 16,
2021. She was 74.She was born December 2, 1946, in Harvey, IL and passed away peacefully Thursday September 16, 2021 at Journey Care of Barrington. Carol graduated from Hope College in 1968. She owned and operated Lemstone in Hawthorn Mall for 24 years and she owned and operated Snickelfritz Toys (formerly Bookids) for 30 years. She was also a member of Willow Creek Community Church in Barrington. Carol adored her grandkids. She had an infectious smile and giggle to go along with her curly hair. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry, her children Scott (LeNae) Van De Hoef, Heather (Rodney) Edwards, her grandchildren Daniel (Emma) Van De Hoef, Joshua Van De Hoef, Hayden Edwards and Lily Edwards.
