Samuel Middleton ’94

Samuel Middleton ’94 of Byron Center, Michigan, died on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. He was 46.

He was preceded in death by his father Jeffrey J. Middleton.  Sam is survived by his wife, Jennifer, his two children, Olivia and Owen Middleton, three step children, Jake, Clare and Grant Newhall, his mother Sherry Middleton, brother Joe Middleton, sister Brandy (John Thomas) Todd, nieces and any other family members.

Sam was a very proud and loving father to all his kids, he had a generous spirit and was a friend to everyone.  He graduated from East Grand Rapids High School and Hope College.

Funeral services will be held on Friday June 16th 11am at First (Park) Congregational Church 10 E Park Pl NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.  The family will greet friends on Thursday June 15th from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to First (Park) Congregational Church in Sam’s memory, 10 E Park Pl NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
