Dorothy TenBrink ’52 Bauman

Dorothy TenBrink ’52 Bauman of Zeeland, Michigan, died on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Faith Hospice-Trillium Woods.

Born Jan. 14, 1930, in Holland, she went on to marry the love of her life Ken, who she was married to for 66 years. She was a graduate of Hope College, taught in Holland Public Schools for over 30 years, and was a member of Calvary Reformed Church.

She was a woman of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love and the beauty and peace that would await her after her passing.

She is survived by her Husband, Ken “Fuzz”; Daughter, Nora (Darrel) Joyce; Son, Ken (Mary) Bauman; Daughter, Julie Campbell; Grandchildren, Abby (Andy) Glover, Sam Joyce, Ken (Anne) Bauman, Kevin (Alyssa) Bauman, Ben (Melanie) Campbell, Alex Campbell, Emily Campbell; Great-grandchildren, Ellery Glover, Tad Bauman; Brother, Martin “Marv” TenBrink; Sister, Kay Mokema; and long-time family friend, Phyllis Baldwin.

A visitation for Dorothy will be Friday July 21, from 3-6 p.m. at Calvary Reformed Church (Ministry Center) 995 E 8th Street, Holland.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Geneva, or Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
