Albert Edgar Lampen ’50

Albert Edgar Lampen “ Ed”, 90, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 4, 2017. Born and raised in Holland. Ed proudly served our country in the U. S. Navy during WWII, worked 38.5 years at Holland Board of Public Works, was a lifelong member of Third Reformed Church and a member of Holland Elks club. He enjoyed fine dining, the Arts, bowling, bike riding, golfing, reading, listening to music and playing the harmonica.

He is survived by his loving wife of 11.5 years, Marlene Lampen and will live on in the hearts of many family and friends.

In loving memory, a memorial service will be held at Third Reformed Church 111 W. 13th street, Holland on Saturday, June 10, at 11 a. m. Contributions may be made in Ed’s name to Hospice of Holland or Third Reformed Church.
