Marcia Lou Van Eden, age 85, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024.
Marcia was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years, positively impacting young lives with her kindness, patience, and dedication which extended to her family as well. As a loving wife and mom, she was a “10”. She enjoyed extensive travel with her husband Jack throughout North America. She was a member of the “Goddesses” who enjoyed one another’s company and going on adventures together. As member of a local book club, she loved to read and read with children. She was loved by many and will be missed.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Van Eden; daughter, Dana Van Eden and Sergio Garay; son, John and Marcia Van Eden; grandchildren, Sergio Garay Van Eden; Dylan Garay Van Eden; sister, Judy Klingenberg; sister, Sally and Eric Cammenga; sister-in-law, Lynn Bekins; brother-in-law, Bill Van Eden and Tina Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
