J. Paul Teusink ’64

Dr J . Paul Teusink, MD died on December 11, 2021 in New York City, New York. Paul is survived by his wife, Dr Cheryl Seaman,
and daughters, Laura Teusink , Marcia Teusink and his brother, Ken Teusink, class of 1967. Paul was the son of Rev.
Howard Teusink and Anna May Teusink who were also both Hope Graduates. Paul earned his MD degree at the
University of Michigan and continued with a specialization in psychiatry at the Menninger Clinic. Paul was the
Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, lcahn School of Medicine , Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Paul and
his wife, Cheryl, both had physiatry practices in New York. He continued his practice until an accidental fall led to his
death. Paul enjoyed the New York City lifestyle as well as traveling the world when time allowed. He also loved
spending time with his grandchildren.
