Donald Maxam ’55

Don Maxam, a 1955 graduate of Hope college passed away at home on June 3, 2020. He is survived by his wife Elsie Maxam of Silver Spring Maryland, daughter Leslie Maxam and grandson Luka of Kensington Maryland and his son Daniel Maxam of Grandville Michigan. Dr. Maxam was a sociology professor at Central College In Pella Iowa for 26 years. He also served as the pastor at churches in Baldwin New York and Rossmoore New Jersey.
