Prudence Tower ’70 Leveillee

Prudence “Prudy” Bower Tower Leveillee was born in Greenville Michigan on September 10, 1948 to Susan F. Bower and Ray J. Tower II.

She was the stepdaughter of Mary G Tower. Prudy graduated from Greenville High School in 1966 and earned a BFA in Music from Hope College in 1970. She taught Elementary Music in Fort Wayne, Indiana and in Boise, Idaho. She was a proud member of the First Congregational Church of Greenville, where she served as Children’s Choir Director, Handbell Choir director, and Church Secretary.

Prudy is survived by her husband Lawrence Leveillee of Vermont, and by her former husband, Steve Petersen. She is also survived by her five siblings: Ray J. “Cap” Tower III (Janet), Helen Shupe (Jeff), John Tower, Philip Tower (Diane), Maria Tower, and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her uncle, Evan Kokales (Sharon) of Kalamazoo, and her lifelong friend Cindi Sutphen.
