Kenneth Geelhood ’43

Kenneth Geelhood ’43 was born on August 10, 1920 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to his parents Abraham and Margaret Geelhood. He passed away on March 6, 2017 in Fort Myers, Florida at the age of 96.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Alice (Vandenberg) Geelhood; children Judy (Jeff) Sabin, Greg (Lindsay) Geelhood, and Lisa (Nigel Marshall) Geelhood; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Ken was a proud US Marine Cpt. having served as a fighter pilot with Squadron VMF 113, flying F4U Corsairs in the Pacific during WWII.
