Kenneth Kole ’58

Kenneth W. Kole, aged 88, of Wyoming, left this life and entered the arms of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Kole, and eleven of his siblings. Kenneth is survived by his sons, Marc (Colleen) Kole, and Eric Kole of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Erin, Hope, and Ben; and brother, Jack (Shirley). Ken was very close to his nephews and their spouses, Rick Kole, Barry Kole and Todd Shane.

He greatly appreciated their love and support over many years. Special thanks to Rick for taking such good care of Ken as his physical health declined during the last few months. Ken will also be missed by his dear friends, Wilma, Donna and Rainie, each of whom he cared for deeply and enjoyed many terrific times over the years. Ken was born and raised in Hudsonville, and resided in Grand Rapids and Wyoming for most of his life.

He attended Hope College, and was a lifelong, diehard fan of the Hope men’s basketball team, travelling around the country to attend the team’s games. He was a long time member of Hudsonville Reformed Church. Ken was an Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.
