Larry Smith ’71

Larry Smith, age 68, of Hudsonville, was welcomed home into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 16, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Smith; children, Jennifer (Curt) Day, Jason (Michelle) Smith of Winnipeg, MB, Jillian (Steve) Branderhorst, Jaclyn Smith, Justin Smith and fiance Sara Burgess, Joshua Smith, Jordan Smith of Plymouth, MI; grandchildren, Alexis, Abbie, Dana, Carmen, Ian, Haydn, Riley, Chelsea, Nora, Hendrik; his sister, Sheryl Smith; sister-in-law, Karen (William) Elgersma; brother-in-law, Jack Kunnen. A memorial service for Larry will be held on Monday, November 20, at 11:00 A.M. at Hudsonville Reformed Church with Rev. Jim Ikerd officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at VanderLaan Funeral Home on Sunday, November 19, from 2 to 4 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
