Geoffrey Legg ’94
Geoffrey D. Legg, age 45, of Holland, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017, at his home, ending a courageous battle with cancer.
Geoff worked at Holland Public Schools in many different positions; technology was his favorite. He loved the outdoors and biking and especially enjoyed being involved in his children’s sports.
Geoff is survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen; children, Natalie (11) and Andrew (9); parents, Richard and Antoinette Legg of Grand Rapids; brother, Chris and Beth Legg of Rockford; parents-in-law, Jim and Diana Elshoff of Holland; brother-in-law, Brian and Madi Elshoff of Jeju Island, South Korea; nieces and nephews, Jersey Legg, Colby Legg, Torin Elshoff, Riley Elshoff.
A memorial service is planned for 4 p.m.
Wednesday, December 20, in the Sanctuary of Christ Memorial Church (entrances C & D), 595 Graafshcap Road, Holland. Rev. Scott D.
Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 3-6 p.m.
Tuesday, December 19, in the Rotunda at Christ Memorial Church (entrances
D & E). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids and the Legg children’s education fund. Guests are encouraged to bring a photo of Geoff to the visitation and funeral service and share the memory with Geoff’s family.
