Shelly Woolman ’93 Cornish

Shelly Woolman ’93 Cornish has retired
from Alpena Public Schools after 25 years in
education as both a teacher and a principal.
Her husband also retired from his career as an
orthopedic surgeon, so as young retirees they
are enjoying time hiking, mountain biking and
sailing. They are also planning a through-hike
on the Appalachian Trail, leaving in April 2021.
