Jeffrey Howard ’01 earned a Ph.D. in transport
in 2021 at the University of Westminister in
London, United Kingdom. His dissertation
was titled “Train Tweets and Social Licence to
Operate: Exploring Stakeholder Engagement
Through the Use of Twitter by Train Operating
Companies in the United Kingdom.” He
currently works at Rail Partners in London as a
policy manager.
