Margie Oklatner ’85 McCarty

Margie Oklatner ’85 McCarty moved to
Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, in July 2020 and
is the senior pastor of the Good Shepherd
Buckhorn Charge. The charge has several active
social ministries, including a diaper ministry,
Bundles of Blessings. Margie sings with the
Bloomsburg Singers. She was a featured soloist
in “Serenade for Strings” this spring. She
looks forward to a trip to see the Passion Play
in Oberammergau, Germany, and a few days
exploring Italy in September.
