Susan Klaner ’71 Madden

Susan Klaner ’71 Madden is traveling this
month with Habitat for Humanity to help
rebuild a home for a family in Braga, Portugal.
Currently the family rents a very small home
with no indoor plumbing and little protection
from the cold. The house to be renovated has
been inherited by the family but is unlivable
in its current state. In November, she will also
take advantage of an opportunity to build with
Habitat in the Salima District of Malawi, Africa,
to provide decent and durable housing.
